The American International School of Kuwait is an accredited co-educational independent day school that offers all three IB Programmes pre-¬kindergarten through grade 12. It has a challenging academic programme in a nurturing child-centered environment. Its graduates attend dozens of English language universities in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. English is the primary language of instruction although approximately one-half of the students are Kuwaiti. Twenty-five percent are Arabic first¬ language speakers from elsewhere in the Middle East, and the remainder, are students from more than forty countries around the world. The school has an outstanding extracurricular program for offering a wide variety of activities in sports and the performing arts. There is an active Model United Nations (MUN) club and each year students travel to the Assembly in The Hague. The school educates and nurtures unique and self-reliant world citizens.
